I work within and in front of audiences, documenting contemporary dialogues through live drawing and sketchnotes. Capturing quotes and highlights, I draw Visual Summaries of information that become easily seen, easily understood, and easily shared in today’s fast-paced world.
I am drawn to conversations about equity, policy, and community, particularly within the Arts and the American South. Much of my work is driven by the desire to help amplify marginalized voices, by capturing the perspectives, concerns, and projects of groups outside of the mainstream conversation, or who offer a different view on current events. My focus is on building bridges of understanding, and though I make conscious choices about the topics I cover, I maintain an objective journalistic approach, remaining nuetral and unbiased in reporting.
I also serve numerous businesses, organizations, and departments with my transcription and visual summaries services, helping build internal understanding or share new developments with the greater public. For more information, see the sidebar FAQ.
